Amazing piece of glass from the 1920s or 1930s; it's exact origins are a bit of a mystery. I can tell you this piece was hand blown and then pressed into shape and the overlay was added - there are bubbles and a the bottom has been hand smoothed. The sterling silver was recently deoxidized and cleaned. This vessel is amazing, not chips cracks, or missing silver. Measures about 15" in diameter.
