At Por Vida Decor, we take pride in being flexible and accommodating to anyone with immediate or long-term home design needs. As such, we both work on a sliding scale and combine services when practical.

As an interior design service, we are qualified to produce construction drawings for new construction or ADUs. As a professional organizing service, we have experience with a full range of projects, from massive private homes to small businesses run out of homes. Each is treated with the same level of professionalism and respect for their privacy.

Interior Design

$1500-$3000/room

Por Vida Decor design packages include hours of design research, mood boards, color consulting, sketches, furniture selections, material sourcing, design meetings, and project management.

We specialize in ADUs, apartments, duplexes, and other small homes, many of which are rental properties.

Kitchen + Bath Design

$3500-$7500/room

Kitchens and baths are the most used and most valuable rooms in your home, and updating them can be life-changing. From cosmetic changes to complete rebuilds, we can reform these utilitarian spaces to be your most cherished.

Our Kitchens and Bath design packages include hours of design research, mood boards, color consulting, sketches, fixture and appliance selections, cabinet selections, design, material sourcing, design meetings, and purchasing management.

Room rates start at $2500 to $4500, depending on the size and complexity of the transformation. for complete kitchens.

Interior Painting + Color Consulting$150-$2000/room

Starting with our color consulting, we will happily work with DIYers who cannot decide on colors or are new to painting. We’ll consider your preferences, trends, and color palettes from all eras, the surface of your walls, and what sheen they should get, and approximately how much prep needs to be done. With this, you’ll get a color board and a shopping list.

Interior painting prices depend largely on the architecture and condition of the walls. Rooms with heavy trim and wall damage are on the higher end, but the final result will be satisfying for many years.

Installation + Assembly

$55-$120 per hour

As part of the installation process, we’ll hang art, window treatments, shelves, and safety bars; we’ll expertly assemble furniture, and we’ll stage the room as much as we can by making beds, fluffing pillows, and adding flowers if we can.

Occupied Staging for Events and Photography

$300-500/DAY

An alternative to regular staging for real estate and optimal for designer portfolios is the occupied staging, where homes are edited and rearranged to highlight architectural features and custom details. Clutter and personal items are removed, and shelves are minimized and depersonalized.

Event staging can be anything from removing furniture and setting up temporary seating, backline set-up for musicians, decorating, designing a theme, and executing it.

Design inspiration materials including fabric swatches, wood samples, sketches of building interiors and exteriors, paint color swatches, a marble sample, a small sculpture, and a pencil, all arranged on a white marble surface.

Professional Organizing and Packing Services

$300-$500/DAY

Our “Declutter + Design” approach to professional organizing works for everyone, but it especially benefits maximalists, collectors, and folks who are uncomfortable with mainstream professional organizing philosophies that focus on minimalism and rigid systems.

We’re also experienced in assisting moves with packing and unpacking services. Before, the moving truck comes, we’ll methodically and carefully pack your things while organizng them and carefully labeling everything. After a move, we’ll unpack your boxes and will set up your kitchen, bathrooms and all of your rooms carefully considering where to put your items to help you stage your new space.

Design + Declutter Consultation

$150-$300

The Design + Declutter Consultation is a one to two-hour meeting at your space to gain perspective on storage and style needs, take measurements, and talk about the possibilities.

If you opt for the higher-end consultation, within two weeks (usually within days), you’ll receive a simple sketch and mood board, some color, material, and furniture ideas, a Pinterest board with all of your selections in it, and an estimate of the purchases required to complete the project. It’s essentially a recipe for you to follow to achieve the look and function we discussed.
