Beautiful large scalloped edge bowl made from cranberry, pink and white milk glass that originally had a silver stand with a handle and was called a "Brides Basket", a traditional gift for Victorian brides. They were purchased at finer department stores and from jewelers. Though separated from its base, this gorgeous hand-blown bowl is lovely as a centerpiece or very fancy fruit bowl.
