Vintage 1949 Copper Plated JZH "Eagle & Heart" Cast Iron Trivet

Wonderful cast iron trivet featuring a 5.5" diameter laurel wreath with an eagle and heart in the center above a set of flourishes that form a handle and make the trivet 8.5" long, and four sturdy small feet that raise it .75" from a surface. This version of this collectible trivet made by John Zimmerman Harner is plated in copper that has been recently cleaned and is surprisingly bright for a 76 year old utilitarian kitchen tool. Excellent condition and completely functional.
