Vintage 1970s French Wicker Charentais Gathering Basket

Named for both a region in France and a type of melon, this gathering basket was designed for gathering, and would likely fit about three freshly harvested melons, several potatoes, or whatever else you grow in your garden. Is also a lovely piece for a collector. Measures 11" tall with the handle, 12" long from end to end, and 8" across. Great condition except for a few minor breaks in the willow.
