Vibrant and visionary oil painting of Haitian women celebrating near a fire by Haitian artist Camile St. Charles. (1947-2003). Lot's of texture and visible paint strokes make this mid century piece so special as does the subject matter itself. Framed beautifully in a dark blue wood frame with white trim in Berkeley, CA. in the late 1960s. Great condition but could use a cleaning. Measures 16" x 11".
